USA MEN?S TENNIS GETS RAINED OUT

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men’s tennis match against Austin Peay was canceled mid-match Wednesday due to inclement weather.

“There are things that we can’t control, weather is one of them,” USA head coach Nick Brochu said. “We had three rain delays. We thought we could get it in, but, in the end, we got the ultimate shower that stopped everything.”

At the time of cancellation the Jaguars had a 3-0 lead on the Govs, picking up wins at the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 spots.

The Jags will be back in action Thursday at 2 p.m. when they host No. 70 Illinois State. Admission to all home matches is free.
