MOBILE, Ala. ? The University of South Alabama football program has teamed up with United Way of Southwest Alabama to give back to the community. Beginning July 1 at 10 a.m., USA will provide a presale opportunity for the inaugural Jaguar football game on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
“We are fortunate to have the University of South Alabama in our community. Their support of United Way results in a better quality of life for everyone,” said Angelo Miller, executive director of United Way of Southwest Alabama. “By participating in the Jaguars’ historic first football game, ticket buyers will have a direct and positive impact on the lives of people in our community.”
Advance individual tickets will be available for purchase with proceeds from dedicated seats sold benefitting United Way of Southwest Alabama.
“I’ve always had great admiration for what the United Way has been able to do over the years,” USA head football coach Joey Jones said. “Just to play a small part in helping them is very rewarding, we will do anything we can. I think it’s important that we teach everyone in our program to learn to give, and while doing that, hopefully we can in some way help the United Way achieve their goals.”
To take advantage of this presale opportunity, tickets can only be purchased by calling 251-461-1USA or visiting UWSWA.org and following the web button.
