MEN'S BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMPS START TODAY

MOBILE, Ala. --- The first of five basketball camps hosted by the University of South Alabama men’s basketball program and head coach Ronnie Arrow started today (June 7) at Jag Gym.

Monday marks the first of two individual camps for all ages; the second will run July 6-9. An elite camp for boys in grades 9-12 is from June 19-20.

The individual camps last four days each. Session one (June 7-10) is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day while session two (July 6-9) is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The camps are designed to give campers the proper instruction and guidance to help them reach their full potential as basketball players by learning the proper skills and techniques of shooting, passing, ball handling, and defending. The campers will receive individual instruction and lectures from the staff which includes members of Arrow’s coaching staff and players.

The team camps allow for players to compete against teams with their own team. Teams get two games per day and will be grouped by age. The junior high team camp is from June 14-15 and the team camp is June 17-19. The latter camp will have both varsity and junior varsity divisions.

Information on all basketball camps is available at www.usajaguars.com under the “Camps and Clinics” header.
