MOBILE, Ala. – Head coach Joey Jones, his staff and the members of the University of South Alabama football team will be available to meet the public Saturday when the team participates in “Fan Day” activities at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
The event will take place from 9:30-11 a.m. and is free to the public. Players and coaches will be available on the field to sign autographs and take pictures with fans to highlight “Fan Day” activities.
Members of the USA Athletic Ticket Sales Office will be on hand to assist individuals interested in purchasing tickets for the 2010 campaign — USA’s second, which will begin on Saturday, Sept. 4 against Pikeville (Ky.) and include seven home contests — as well as help fans who have not already done so pick seats at Ladd-Peebles Stadium for the year. And, the USA Bookstore will be selling JagWear merchandise on the concourse level of the stadium.
Eligible donors will be able to pick up their complimentary copy of “Kickoff: The Story of the University of South Alabama’s Inaugural Football Season” — the new book published by the University as the official commemorative publication of the historic first season of Jaguar football and marching band — at “Fan Day.” The book will also be available for purchase from the USA Bookstore at the stadium that morning.
Gate 2W, located on the west side of the stadium, will be the only entrance available on “Fan Day.”
