MOBILE, Ala. – The initial “Jag Lunch,” featuring University of South Alabama head football coach Joey Jones, will be held next week prior to the Jaguars’ Sept. 18 game against Nicholls State, with four more dates set for the rest of the season.

The entire “Jag Lunch” schedule is as follows:

Doors for the “Jag Lunch” will open and food service will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the program featuring coach Jones slated to start at 12:15 p.m.  In previewing upcoming opponents, Jones will both speak and highlight coaches’ video for those in attendance.  The cost to attend the lunch — which will be held at Wintzell’s Oyster House on Airport Boulevard — is $10.

USA will play host to the Colonels — the first of four NCAA Football Championship Subdivision schools on the 2010 schedule — at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium after opening the year by defeating Pikeville (Ky.) 56-0 Saturday.
