MOBILE, Ala. – The second annual “Rumble” — an event that serves as the culmination of the University of South Alabama football team’s offseason strength and conditioning program — will be held Saturday at Jag Gym.
The “Rumble” will begin at 6 p.m., with admission and parking free to the public.
The event will feature 15 Jaguars demonstrating various feats of strength, explosiveness and athleticism.
The Jags’ spring season ended with the annual Red & White Game on March 26, however USA has continued to train with weight and conditioning programs in an effort to build upon the school’s 17-0 record in the first two seasons of competition. The Jaguars went 10-0 in 2010 while facing a schedule that included all four-year schools — including four contests with NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (formerly NCAA I-AA) opponents — while the upcoming schedule in the fall will feature USA’s first two games ever against NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly NCAA I-A) teams.
Jaguar fans can contact the USA Strength and Conditioning staff at (251) 460-7567 for more information on the “Rumble.”
