MOBILE, Ala. – May 3, 2013, will mark the 50th Anniversary of the University of South Alabama.  Throughout the academic year, the USA Department of Athletics will recognize “50 Great Moments In Jaguar Athletics” to honor past teams, coaches and student-athletes for their accomplishments.

Sept. 23, 2001
Cindy Rainville — the school’s all-time leading scorer — nets two goals to lead the Jaguars to a 2-1 overtime victory over Mississippi State four days after USA defeated LSU.  Rainville would go on to earn first-team all-Sun Belt Conference honors, finishing the season with eight goals, five assists and 21 points, including four game-winning goals.  USA would end the year 9-8-1, its fifth straight winning season, while Rainville concluded her career that fall with 45 goals, 30 assists and 120 points, all school-record totals.
