MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama baseball team could potentially play a doubleheader Sunday at Stanky Field due to the postponement of Saturday’s game with College of Charleston.
A doubleheader is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, with the first game – which will be nine innings – scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. The second game would be a seven-inning contest, and would begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
However, if Stanky Field requires more time for preparation due to the heavy rains that are expected through Saturday, then there will be just one game beginning at 1 p.m.
A decision will be made between 9:30 a.m.–10 a.m. Sunday morning as to whether one or two games will be played.
