MOBILE, Ala. — University of South Alabama Director of Athletics Dr. Joel Erdmann announced Monday that the school has signed a two-year, home-and-home football contract with Bowling Green.
The Jaguars will first meet the Falcons in Bowling Green, Ohio, on Sept. 11, 2021, with BGSU coming to Mobile for a Sept. 3, 2022, match-up in return.
It’s the second agreement USA has with a Mid-American Conference member in football. The Jags faced Kent State on the road on Sept. 24 last season, and will take on the Golden Flashes at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Oct. 19, 2013, before returning to Kent on Sept. 6, 2014.
The first meeting with the Falcons is USA’s second non-Sun Belt Conference contest of the 2021 campaign, as the Jaguars will play Southern Mississippi at home the weekend prior.
