Lindsay Schwartz earns second-team All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships after finishing in 13th place — 11 spots ahead of her qualifying mark — in the heptathlon with a then school-record 5,274 points.  A native of Watertown, Wis., Schwartz would go on to be named second-team All-America twice last season, finishing 13th at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the pentathlon before recording a 10th-place finish in the heptathlon in June.  With a school-record 5,606 points at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Schwartz qualified to participate in the heptathlon at the United States Olympic Trials, where she would go on to place 14th while posting yet another school-record point total in the event.
