MOBILE, Ala. – May 3, 2013, will mark the 50th Anniversary of the University of South Alabama.  Throughout the academic year, the USA Department of Athletics will recognize “50 Great Moments In Jaguar Athletics” to honor past teams, coaches and student-athletes for their accomplishments.

Nov. 12, 2009
Santuan McGee scored three second-half touchdowns and Brandon Ross added two scores as the Jaguars defeated Huntingdon (Ala.), 35-0, to conclude their inaugural season with a perfect 7-0 record.  Ahead by just a touchdown at the half, Ross — who would finish with a game-high 144 yards on 18 carries — concluded the opening possession of the third quarter with a one-yard scoring run, as USA would go on to score 28 points in a 13-minute span.  Bryson James and Montavious Williams led the USA defense with seven tackles apiece, helping the unit limit HC to just 83 second-half yards and a season-low 236 overall; the Hawks entered play leading the NCAA Division III level with an average of 558 yards of total offense per outing.
