Future South Alabama football schedules (pdf link)

MOBILE, Ala. – With the addition of a pair of future home games, University of South Alabama Director of Athletics Dr. Joel Erdmann announced Tuesday complete non-Sun Belt Conference football schedules for the 2016 and '17 campaigns.

The Jaguars will play host to Nicholls State — marking the Colonels' third visit to Mobile — on Sept. 24, 2016, while the following fall Alabama A&M is slated to come to Mobile on Sept. 16.

USA will begin the 2016 season with a trip to Mississippi State on Sept. 3, completing a three-game agreement between the two schools, then return home to take on UAB the next weekend for the second part of a home-and-home contract.  The final non-league game that year will be an Oct. 15 match-up with Louisiana State in Baton Rouge.

The next fall the Jags will once again start away from home, opening up at Mississippi on Sept. 2, while making their home debut the following week when Oklahoma State comes to Mobile.  USA will conclude non-conference action Sept. 30 with a trip to take on Louisiana Tech in the start of a home-and-home series.
