NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference announced Wednesday that the University of South Alabama men's basketball team's home game vs. Texas-Arlington on Monday, Jan. 16 will be televised on ESPN2.

Game time is now set for 2 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Mavericks, listed at No. 21 in the most recent NCAA RPI rankings, are the current holders of a nine-game winning streak after their victory Dec. 22 against Loyola Marymount, and currently stand at 10-3 on the season.

South Alabama (7-6) opens Sun Belt play Jan. 2 at 7:05 p.m. vs. Troy in the Mitchell Center.
