-Including a period at the end of the day with the offense facing the defense on third-down plays, the event included just under 100 snaps.
-Not including the final period, the defense limited their counterparts to just under four yards per play, giving up 343 overall.
-A trio of defenders — Bull Barge, Kalen Jackson and Darrell Songy — paced the unit with six tackles apiece, with the three combining for five stops behind the line of scrimmage.
-Randy Allen accounted for the lone takeaway of the day with a fumble recovery on the second red zone drive of the scrimmage.
-Cole Garvin completed his first seven attempts, going on to finish 9-of-12 for 67 yards to lead the three Jaguar quarterbacks who threw passes in the scrimmage.
-Chris Lewis had three straight catches on offense's first touchdown drive, finishing with a team-leading five receptions.
-Six other individuals caught two balls, with five players accounting for one touchdown reception each.
-Berron Tyson paced the rushing attack with 59 yards on eight attempts.
-In the final period Chason Milner intercepted a pass deflected by Jackson, but the offense answered with a 56-yard Deonta Moore touchdown run.

Head coach Joey Jones
On if he saw better execution in the second scrimmage: "I did.  Defensively, one thing you notice when you watch, is that they are knocking the living fool out of people; they are really playing the game physically.  I'm sure the coaches will look at the film and not like some things they see, but from an overall standpoint I thought we played well defensively.  Offensively I thought we started executing a little better.  We're going against a pretty good defense, which is a good thing for our offense."
On plans heading into next week's Red-Blue game: "We've got Monday's practice and Wednesday's practice and basically we are done — Friday is going to be a light day and Saturday will be fun.  We've really got two more good days of hard work, we have to get some more done while we have pads on."
On what has stood out to him during the spring season: "Looking at them as a team and seeing how they approach everything in a positive way.  Everybody is on the same page and has an unbelievable attitude; when something bad happens there is not a lot of bellyaching, they just pick it up and go to the next play.  One word to describe it would be maturity."

Offensive coordinator Bryant Vincent
On what he liked from the offense in the scrimmage: "Coach Wommack, the defensive staff and their players have put a lot of pressure on us this spring — they are doing a phenomenal job — but our guys responded today and made a ton of big plays; we got the ball in the end zone seven or eight times.  Overall we executed well even though we are still hit-and-miss at times, we did leave a lot of big plays on the field, but overall I thought we made a lot of progress today."
On having just one turnover on the day: "That was huge because our defense has created a lot of turnovers this spring.  Today, until the very end when we had a tipped pass for an interception, we were almost turnover free.  We did a good job of securing the ball today, just being physical and making plays.  I was proud of our guys today."
On the team's quarterbacks at this point of the spring season: "We've got three young guys — Dallas, Cole and Evan — who are playing above going into their sophomore year.  They are making good decisions, accurate throws and throwing the ball on time.  Right now I am really pleased with where all three of them are at."

Defensive coordinator Kane Wommack
On what he saw from the defense on Saturday: " I thought the energy was pretty good and the effort was pretty good, some of the experience rose to the top a little bit; the guys who have played in games previously really started to pull away from some of those other guys.  The thing we have to improve on is our situational defense and our awareness.  It's just a matter of reps, you have to fight through some of those growing pains."
On the unit's low takeaway total in the scrimmage: "I'm sure it was [the offense taking better care of the ball], but we stress takeaways — that's an emphasis in our defense — so on days that we don't get any we put that on ourselves.  That's something we have to do every time we go out there."
On where his unit is with a week left in the spring: "I feel like we are ahead of where we should be right now.  The guys keep pressing and getting better, and they are executing better.  Today was one of those days where you saw guys get better — some through execution, some by going through the fire — so I am really pleased with what we have accomplished this spring."

Junior CB Devon Earl
On impressions of how the offense did in the scrimmage: "I think we came out with really good energy and just fed off Coach Wommack.  He came out to have a good time today and I think we responded to that."
On forcing fewer turnovers than the first scrimmage: "The offense came out with an emphasis to not turn the ball over, that was part of it.  But at the same time we had guys flying around hitting people, and we did have one fumble recovery."
On how he feels about the defense at this point in the spring: "Really good.  We're progressing at a good rate, by the time the season gets here we'll be clicking on all cylinders and ready to roll."

Junior TE Gerald Everett
On how the offense improved throughout the day: "We came out kind of slow, but as the day progressed we picked up the tempo."
On his catches in the scrimmage: "I'm just trying to develop some chemistry with the new quarterbacks.  With Cody [Clements] departing, we are looking for one of the guys to step up; I think Dallas, Cole and Evan did a great job today."
On where the offense is in the spring at this point: "We are ahead of schedule, as we should be.  We want to keep coming out and getting better every day to add on to that."
