-Four Jaguar quarterbacks combined to complete 31-of-57 attempts for 319 yards.
-Dami Ayoola averaged eight-and-a-half yards per carry to lead the rushing attack with Gerald Everett pacing four receivers with four catches.
-Tavon Cox was the only defensive player with a double-figure tackle total, while Barge and Kalen Jackson each intercepted a pass.
-USA's kickers were 9-of-9 on the day, with the trio of Aleem Sunanon, Gavin Patterson and Keller Farni connecting from 32, 39 and 43 yards out.
Head coach Joey JonesOn his overall impression of the scrimmage: "I saw some good individual efforts out there, some guy who got better. I told the team I feel like we have a good set of starters, but we don't have enough depth right now to endure a full season. We have to come up with more depth, that's something we need to continue to do the rest of the spring."
On the defense's performance: "I thought they looked good. Kalen is starting to get a feel for that nickel position, he's a great force out there. Bull has been a great surprise this spring with the way he's playing — we knew he was a good player, but he has taken it to the next level."
On the how the offense looked: "We were just going six plays and out, there were some times we stopped drives before they were supposed to end. I thought we ran the ball fairly well, especially early — that's one of our major emphases this spring — and that Dallas managed the team very well. We have some guys who are making plays and we're continuing to get better, we just have a way to go."
Redshirt Freshman QB Dallas DavisOn the offense's performance in the opening spring scrimmage: "We were a little sluggish and started out slow, we didn't have the right mentality coming out here. We have to pick some things up and get better."
On how the offense has been progressing through the first two weeks of practice: "We have high expectations of ourselves, and as of right now I feel we are moving in the right direction."
Freshman LB Bull BargeOn how he thought the defense played: "We flew around, everybody really had fun making plays together today."
On his performance in the scrimmage: "[Assistant] Coach [Kane Wommack] has been talking the whole time he has been here about swarming, he wants everybody running to the ball. That's what I was doing on the first one and I got a scoop-and-score, and on the second one I was running to the ball again and got a pick."
Up next: The Jaguars are schedule to practice Friday at 7:10 a.m. before the school's Spring Break officially begins
