INTANGIBLES    

Ranks third on South Alabama’s career kills per set chart (3.59), fifth on the program’s kill list (1,198) and 10th on USA’s career digs per set (2.54) list entering the 2016 season.  She is also just 14 digs shy of climbing into the Top 10 of that category.  Had 40 career double-doubles, which ranks second in program history and is just two shy of tying the top mark.

AT SOUTH ALABAMA
JUNIOR SEASON (2015)    

Started 26 of South Alabama’s 28 matches, competing in all 111 sets … Ranked fourth in the Sun Belt in kills per set with 3.58 and led the club with 397 kills … Was also second on the team with 277 kills and 2.50 digs per set … Ranked third on the club in blocks with 64 – eight solo and 56 assists – and averaged 0.64 blocks per set … Named second-team all-Sun Belt Conference … Named MVP of and selected to the Jaguar Invitational all-tournament team … Hit .300 or better in eight matches … Had team-high 12 double-doubles … Finished with double-digit kill tallies 26 times … Finished with 15 or more kills 13 times … Had season-high 24-kill outing versus Georgia State (10/3) … Also had 20-kill performances at Georgia Southern (9/26), where she had 20, and at Little Rock (10/17) where she had 21 … Had 18 digs against the Panthers and a career-high 21 digs against the Trojans … Named Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 19) … Her 21-kill, 21-dig performance at Little Rock marked the first time a Jag has done so in a match since the 2010 season … Was one of 10 players from around the nation chose as a HERO Sports Gem of the Week on Oct. 21 … Voted as the national HERO Sports Gem of the Week on Oct. 27 after receiving 42.94 percent of the vote … Out of the 2,664 votes cast, Daniel received 1,144 of them, which were 293 more than the next closest player in the poll.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014)    
Started all 30 matches that she competed, playing in 112 sets … Led South Alabama in kills (378) and kills per set (3.38) … Ranked seventh in the Sun Belt in kills and points (3.66) … Also ranked third on the team in digs with 290 digs and a 2.50 dps average … Recorded 14 double-doubles … Had 24 double-figure kill matches and led the club offensively 20 times … Finished with 20 or more kills three times … Recorded 16-straight double-digit kill matches to close out the regular season … Had 15 double-figure dig matches … Named to the UNIWYO Cowgirl Classic all-tournament team … Recorded her second double-double of the season with 24 kills and 11 digs vs. Montana (9/5) … Hit .352 (24-5-54) against the Grizzlies … The 24 kills tied for the sixth-most in program history during the Rally Scoring Era … Posted her third double-double of the season with 14 kills and 14 digs at Mississippi State (9/11) … Registered eight kills in the first set versus the Bulldogs … Had 20 kills and tied a career-high with 19 digs at Louisiana-Monroe (10/24) for eighth double-double … Also posted 22 kills and 14 digs vs. Louisiana-Lafayette (11/7) … Hit .385 (16-1-39) at Georgia State (10/4) … Honored as the Outstanding Female International Student-Athlete of the Year by the Office of International Student Services and Admissions prior to South Alabama’s match versus Texas-Arlington (10/10) … The award is given to an international student for having a positive impact on the university’s international community … Named to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013)    
Also made a dramatic impact on the South Alabama lineup as she became one of the top players in the Sun Belt Conference … Named the Sun Belt Conference’s Freshman of the Year, while also picking up first-team all-conference honors … Was just the third South Alabama player to be named as an individual award winner, joining Marei Lirette who was named the conference’s player of the year during the 1988 season and Allison Dickinson who was named the league’s newcomer of the year in 1999 … Started 27 of the 29 matches in which she played and was one of two Jags to play in all 111 sets during the season … Led the club and ranked third in the conference in kills (423 – 3.81 per set) and points (4.33 per set) … Was even better against league competition as she averaged 4.03 kps … Hit .226 on the season … Notched 24 double-figure kill matches, including 22 of the last 23, while leading USA offensively on 18 occasions … Also had 14 double-figure dig matches and led the team in that category seven times … .Recorded a team-high 14 double-doubles on the year, including 13 in conference play … Had a stretch of nine-straight (10/20 – 11/17) … Finished the season with 283 digs and a 2.55 dps average … Was also a force serving the ball as she ranked second on the squad with her 25 aces and 0.23 aces per set average … Tied to lead the team in that category in 11 matches … Twice recorded a season-high three aces … Her 423 kills were the most ever by a freshman at USA and also ranked as sixth-most in a single season … Recorded 15 or more kills in 17 matches, including four 20-plus efforts … Posted a career-high 28 kills in a 3-1 road victory at Troy during the final month of the season … The 28 kills were also the most since Selena Chidester’s 29 kills versus Troy back on Sept. 4, 2001, and tied for sixth-most by a player in the league in 2013 … Was named the Sun Belt’s Freshman of the Week on a league-best four occasions and became the first conference player to ever be named both the top frosh and offensive player of the week when she earned the multiple honors on 11/11 … The offensive player of the week honor marked the first time a Jaguar had received the award since Juliana Almeida’s selection back on Sept. 6, 2010 … Was named to the Hampton Inn Bama Bash all-tournament team.

AT THE BOWELLS SCHOOL     
Played seven years of volleyball for the Boswells School in Chelmsford, England … Also competed in Netball (six years) and five years in both basketball and swimming … Helped Boswells win the U14 Nationals in 2009 and won U18 Volleyball England Cup Finals championship held at the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering, England in 2013 … Named her school’s woman of the year twice – 2011 and 2012 … Also participated in the 2012 World School Volleyball Championships held in France (2009-11) … Won the UKSG with Central England where she was named one of the top six players at the tournament in 2011 … Was part of the British Olympic ambition program of potential Olympians during the 2012 Olympic Games held in her home country … Named the Player of the Year for the Mallory Eagles – her club team in 2012 … Traveled to Austria to compete at the Sparkassen Rondo Cup with the England Cadets where she was awarded the best hitter of the tournament … Played four seasons with the English National team.
