DeLancey Giannini joined South Alabama in 2024 as the Associate Athletic Director for Revenue Generation.
Arriving in Mobile by way of Southern Miss, Giannini spent three seasons with Learfield and Southern Miss Sports Properties. Prior to her time in college athletics, Giannini worked in various sales roles with companies including T-Mobile, Verizon, Samsung and Trailhead Media. Giannini is the daughter of former Southern Miss Director of Athletics, Richard Giannini. She owns a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialty in hospitality administration and management from Southern Miss.
"Division I college athletics is unquestionably in the midst of transformative change, and the need to creatively generate and maximize new resources has never been more critical to our future success," said Deputy Athletic Director Daniel McCarthy. "With that in mind, this was a really important hire for our department. After an exhaustive search, it became abundantly clear that DeLancey Giannini was the right person at the right time. Not only does she have the pedigree of growing up around college athletics, but she also brings a strong sales background in both the private sector and athletics space. She is perfectly situated to take the reins with Jaguar Sports Properties and we are excited to have her join our leadership team."
