General Information
- All participants must be currently enrolled or have applied to the University.
About the Auditions
Day 1: dancers will learn choreography
Day 2: dancers will perform choreography that was learned on day 1 as well as perform a dance of your choice that is 45 sec to 1 minute in length.
Elements that may be included in day 1 choreography:
- left and right splits
- left and right triple turns
- left and right fouettes
- left and right kicks (all forms)
- right needle turn
- left and right leaps (this includes straddles and switch leaps to all sides & reverse jetes)
Tryout Attire
You should wear a 2-piece dance attire of your choice. Top—dance midriff or athletic sports bra top; bottom—dance shorts; dance shoes of any type. Wear something that distinguishes you from the other dancers! Hair and makeup should be "game ready"
